Original Work Requirement
All essays must be the contestant’s own, original work. Any form of plagiarism will result in automatic disqualification.
Contact with Judges
Participants are strictly prohibited from contacting contest judges. Any attempt to do so will lead to immediate removal from the competition.
Finality of Judging
All decisions made by the panel of judges are final and cannot be appealed.
Submission Guidelines
Essays that do not meet the outlined requirements or that are submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Use of Winning Essays
By accepting an award, winners grant AlcoRehab.org the unrestricted right to use, publish, and promote their essay, as well as their name and personal details, unless prohibited by law.
Evaluation Disclaimer
AlcoRehab.org will make every reasonable effort to read and evaluate all submitted essays but cannot be held responsible for any essay that is not reviewed.
Revocation of Prizes
If it is later discovered that a participant violated any of the contest rules, their prize may be withdrawn immediately.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will AlcoRehab.org be held liable for indirect, punitive, special, or consequential damages incurred by participants.
Submission Limits and Deadlines
If the number of entries exceeds expectations, AlcoRehab.org reserves the right to close submissions earlier than the published deadline. Contestants are encouraged to submit their essays as early as possible.
Amendments to Rules
In the event that any contest rules must be modified, AlcoRehab.org will notify participants via email. Continued participation will be considered acceptance of the updated rules. Contestants who do not agree may withdraw.
Taxes and Fees
Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or charges related to their prize.
Ownership of Submissions
All essays submitted become the property of AlcoRehab.org, which retains the right to use, reproduce, or distribute them at its sole discretion.
