Marixie Ann Manarang-Obsioma is a licensed Medical Technologist (Medical Laboratory Scientist) and an undergraduate of Doctor of Medicine (MD). She took her Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology at Angeles University Foundation and graduated with flying colors. Being one of the best in her class, she was sent to Veterans Memorial Medical Center for internship training. The facility provides the best quality medical care and treatment to retired Veterans and their dependents, as provided by US public law. Her experiences during preceptorships in medical school also allowed her to see patients regularly from different medical departments.
The combination of having an excellent medical background, being a mom, and wanting to help people, especially the elderly, has cultivated her passion for working in remote areas with love and compassion.
Marixie is one of the editors of Fighting Dust Mites, a website that aims to educate people about allergies and the many ways to prevent them. She’s also affiliated with several websites which help educate people who are interested in healthy and effective weight loss programs.
Marixie likes to travel, read, and watch movies.
